Disposal of the acid is often more difficult and costly then just replacement of the battery. If it where me, I would start saving my money to purchase a new battery. just to be on the safe side.

Best 2009-2011 Sedan/Crossover?

My parents are looking for a new or almost new vehicle. My mom wants something bigger than a car, so something like a crossover since there's not many station wagons around anymore or vans to choose from. Right now we have a 2000 Ford Taurus Wagon, it's been a good car, never broken down, but it's needing some repairs that can get costly, especially for a vehicle that's only worth a couple thousand now. We'd like a vehicle that will last a good 5 years without needing any major maintenance (just regular maintenance, ie. oil change, breaks, all fluids etc.). Unfortunately it will mostly be for city driving, but we will be using it to go to Quebec and Winnipeg in the next few months. It has to be a car that's not as high-up as an SUV though because my dad has trouble getting in and out...So as low as a car, but lots of trunk space for a wheel chair (dad has MS) and lots of space for boxes/suitcases/long items etc. I'll take suggestions on sedans as well if the rear seats go down. We'd like the car to come with a block heater since we'll be moving to Winnipeg, an alarm, power trunk/lift gate (preferably), and a gas tank door that can lock. And something that's really good on gas! We don't have a preference exactly as to what make, but it needs to have an automatic transmission, be under around $27,000 (CDN), and comfortably seat 3 people, so just give me some suggestions on some good reliable cars, thanks!!

Please help getting my baby to sleep in his crib.?

I was BF our 10 month son up until a month ago. I thought he was weaning but by the time I figured out that he was on a nursing strike, it was too late. For BF reasons, I din't mind him sleeping in bed with me but things have gotten worse. He won't even take a nap if I'm not laying in bed holding him. I tried getting him to sleep in his car seat and stroller but that didn't work. I even moved his crib right next to my bed and removed the side rail. Not only does he throw a fit whenever I try to get him to sleep in it, he's actually thrown up because he cried so hard even though I was right there comforting him and holding his hand. Transfering him there after he falls asleep also fails. Even when we are sleeping at night, he constantly wakes up to make sure he's touching me or that I'm holding him. I don't mind him sleeping with me at night but I'm confined to my bed whenever he takes a nap because he could roll off the bed if I'm not there and most days I have to wake him up anyway just so I can get to the bathroom in time. I can usually roll him off my arm once he's soundly asleep. Any ideas anyone? Sorry about my spelling but I had to use my cell phone while I'm laying down next to baby boy!

Hi, this last week i've joined the gym and been heavily researching on the Sport, the Diets etc and i think ive got a solid plan but i want confirmation so that it works. Im an 18 Year old guy standing at 6ft 5 (195cm) and weigh ~86kg, im looking to put on muscle without adding too much fat (i know its not gonna be no fat but minimal would be best so i dont have to cut as long) Im training 4 days a week as of next week (last week went 3 to introduce myself) doing a split routine and 5x5 training with warmup sets. I've worked out about 4000 calories a day to gain maybe 400 less on rest days depending on how busy I am, but my total exercise is the gym + walking to and from class/work, and work is walking roughly 2-3 hours solid. Ive built up a diet that is pretty clean and ive stuck to it perfectly past week, it includes Oatmeal,LF Yoghurt, Wholemeal Toast, Chicken, Lean Red Meat, Salmon, Brown Rice, Potatoes, large amounts of vegetables, Whey Protein, Skim Milk, Peanut Butter, Avocado's, Bananas, and some Powerade some days while i train. Im fairly confident this is a clean diet and i have split my eating up into 6-7 times daily 3 big meals (BF,Lunch,Din) and 3 smaller meals (pre/post w/o, pre bed, snacks). if i continue with this should i see some lean mass gains? Cheers peeps :) P.S. is it okay to have the occasional cheat meal if im out with friends, so long as i try to keep the fatty foods out etc ill have subway or nandos or sumthing rather than macdonalds which i dont really eat anyway (maccas, hj's are a huge turn off for me)

Okay, my sister has this bird that she bought on impulse. Its a parrotlet. I said that it was a bad idea and we don't need it but of course my parents didn't listen. How to deal with my horrible mother?

So my mother complains all the time that she does not have anyone to take care of her and pamper atleast one whole day (since my parents are divorced she gets very lonely). So I decided to cook for her and give her a break from the kitchen for today and start cooking. To be honest I hate the kitchen and I hate to cook but I somehow bring myself to do it. So I start...and since I dont cook too often I happen to take longer than what she would take to cook the same thing..Obviously. So just when I'm about done, she yells from the bedroom (where is is just lazing around) if I'm planning on providing her with breakfast or dinner because I'm taking so long! She is so unhappy and starts eating and complaining about how long I took to make it and how I am so slow and how I still have to learn to do things right and how I'm incapable of providing her a happy breakfast etc...etc. At this point my blood is boiling....On top of making her breakfast and trying to do something nice, this ***** wants to complain on how I could not do it according to her standards! I just want to scream and say SCREW YOU *****, YOU DESERVE NOTHING! But instead I control my temper and tell her to stop nagging for which she explodes like a latent volcano and starts yelling at me and throwing stuff and acting like a psychotic poodle! I try to reason with her and tell her to calm down and she slaps me!!!!!!! At this point I lose my temper and start yelling too (I really wanted to slap her back but obviously I can't slap my mom). Real player isn't working on Google Chrome?

Yesterday, i updated my real player sp version to the new real player version. Now, I am not able to download videos from Youtube on Google chrome. The same error comes up, "This application has failed to start because MSVCP(0.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem.". I've tried re-installing real player and Google chrome. But it doesn't wok. I even tried system restore. It still doesn't work. What the hell am i supposed to do? Is there any way I can rollback to Real Player SP? I don't wanna download it from random websites.

How to outline a drawing on gimp?

Like an anime drawing? I've always wanted to post digital art that isn't crappy on deviantart, but I'm more of traditional art type of person. But anyways, I usually take pictures of my drawings and install them to my computer, then plan to make them more awesome on gimp, but it just never woks. I understand that you have to make many layers and all, and even the Bezier curve tool. The only problem is outlining the picture using the Bezier curve tool, I'm not really sure if it outlines or not. I've tried using it to outline, but it was green and thin. I tried making it thicker, and black, but it just didn't work. Please help I am soo confused. I saw and read many tutorials on using Gimp, but none of them helped me.

Cat problem, socialising a stray?

I found a stray 6 weeks ago. A neighbour called thinking she was my cat Ruby who went missing 4 months ago. It wasn't her but I took her in as she was covered in parasites and her long fur was falling out, she was thin as a rake and in agony. I have been doing my law finals revision for the last 2 months, so I have spent about 2 hours a day with Grace (the name I gave her) I think she benefitted from the peace quiet and routine and she has blossomed, been treated for the critters and is in my outhouse which is warm cozy, furniture just like another room in the house really. I didn't want an infestation in my home and more imprtantly my boy cat fatty, son of Ruby is in the house. Fatty is the softest and sweetest natured cat ever, he helped his mum look after her second litter of kittens and is an absolute angel with other cats, he is such a happy little thing and I din't want him to feel dominated in his own home. Grace is also a softie, with me....but I have been bringing fatty into the outhouse every morning for half an hour. First time, he went up to her carefully but excited to find a new friend (he is spayed by the way so I know she cant be in fear of that) He's very careful to not appear threatening to her, very cautious, doesnt make eye contact and turns his back slowly to her which I know is a sign of trust, and a signal they want peace. Thing is she gets really funny with him, low growls and miowing loudly, although she hasnt tried to go for him, she's really not the type, you can tell shes been mistreated because she freaks out about really odd things like when I picked up a chair to move it once. Not sure whether these morning introductions are doing more harm than good, fatty is very quiet when he gets back in the house and just gives me this sad look. I really wanted to give her a home but I can't bring her in the house and I can't keep her in the outhouse forever she needs the kind of tender loving care I am giving her but from someone with no kids and no other pets...I think. What doesn everyone else think? Any experience of this? I want them BOTH to be happy, and I'm not prepared to compromise fattys happiness. I know If I got a kitten or something fatty would be all over it and theyd be best friends, I also know he's like to be friends with Grace,it's just not fair on him, or her. is there any hope here?

The AVG it self works but not the gadget. Whats going on with my van?

I got a 2000 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.3L 148K mi. I have a few electrical probs. This morning I went to start it and It was completely dead, no electrical power whatsoever on the van. i take my key out of the ignition and im hearing a weird humming, crackling sound that only stops when my foot gets on the brake. i turn the key back and forth from lock to start; NOTHING. Batt terminals are clean and tight. two min pass and my dome light comes on. WTF? i try key again and the electricity disappers again. arrrrrrghh. after 4 episodes of this, it starts with no issue and hasnt acted up since. I gotta figure it out cuz i run a daycare and this incident left me and my five six year olds and two 9 months old stranded at the local mall for an hour. any suggestions?

What is the difference between a round-bottom wok and flat-bottom wok?

All the answers above are correct in the western world but in Asia, round bottom woks are used on stoves that have a flat, cast iron surfaces with a large hole in it where the wok sits in it an inch or so. Underneath is a naked wood or coal fire. Usually round bottom woks don't sit safely on western gas stoves as they fall to the side but as you tend to hold them anyway and cook fast. I use a round one on my normal gas stove here in England simply because it makes everything 'feel' authentic and is part of the fun.
