Does Greenpois0n work on 4.3.3 iPod 4g?

I have a 32 g iPod touch 4th gen with version 4.3.3 , does greenpoison wok on this? And do I have to restore my iPod to factory settings to jailbreak it with greenpoison? If so, what are the cool features of jailbreaking?
