What can i use instead of a deep skillet? EASY 10 POINTS!?

I am making samosas, and it says to use a deep skillet (look it up on google if you dont know what it is), but i dont have one (they are too expensive....) can i use a wok/deep frying pan? PLEASE HELP ME!
