Should i get 1 or 2 budgies?

one budgie if you want to train it and a male is easier to tame because they are less stubborn. But try to spend as much time as you can with it and your kids could spend some time with it when your gone. Start with one and then see how it goes and if you think its too lonely then get it a friend but be aware that you may lose your bond with it.
