2000 Astro Van problems?

I have a 2000 chevrolet Astro van (All wheel drive). When I drive slow and turn right or left I can feel the front wheels skip around the corner. What is wrong and what do I need to do to correct the problem. Its not a tire problem because they were replaced and the problem has not been corrected.
